They also face the dilemma of price wars. So, how can enterprises break through the situation?

Recently, a reporter from Aluminum Plus Network visited Diyi Machinery and had an exchange with its executive director Liu Biyuan on the company's development situation, industry development status, and other aspects. Liu Dong: Our company's products mainly cover two aspects: automated packaging equipment for profiles and deep processing equipment for profiles. Although we are currently at the forefront of industry development, we are constantly improving and enhancing. Previous aluminum profile wrapping machines, aluminum single tie bagging machines, aluminum profile automatic bagging machines, and aluminum profile single support bagging machines, including the newly launched automatic paper wrapping machine for profiles this year, have fast paper wrapping speed, accurate packaging technology, and stable packaging effect, solving the problem of automated packaging of aluminum profiles, greatly improving the packaging speed of products, reducing production costs, and building materials production and processing equipment is also the choice for innovative manufacturing of building materials industry products.

At the end of last year, Huajian Aluminum began using our equipment, and our cooperation with Huajian has exceeded 10 million yuan for a single equipment. In the first two years, bagging equipment was mainly used by customers in Guangdong region. After the launch of paper wrapping equipment last year, Shandong is currently the main focus,and Anhui, Zhejiang, and Jiangsu all important expansion areas for us.

Liu Dong: When our product is launched into the market, it is inevitable to encounter imitations from competitors in the same industry. Aluminum Plus Network reporter: What is your opinion on the future development of the industry? How can we adapt to the rapid changes in the industry?

Liu Dong: The development space of profile packaging equipment is vast and full of opportunities. Many profile factories are also closely monitoring the trends of our company's new equipment. The aluminum packaging process used to rely solely on manual labor, but in recent years, with the rise in labor costs and the increasing shortage of labor resources, many companies have begun to realize the importance of machine automation. Of course, the most important thing is to rely on technological research and development, so every new product we release is highly regarded by the industry.

Through the display of automatic packaging equipment products, we found that many customers are very interested because there is no precedent to follow. In fact, our company has been producing automatic film sticking equipment for the past two years, mainly sold abroad and not promoted in China. This year, we plan to promote new products and continuously improve the film sticking equipment to make it more suitable for the domestic market.

Al Jiawang reporter: How does this year's COVID-19 affect Diyi?

Liu Dong: The impact on orders is not significant, even more than in previous years. It is expected that the annual revenue for 2020 will exceed the target. But it has also had a certain impact on production capacity. Many equipment factories in Guangdong switched to producing mask machines at the beginning of the year, and manufacturers of processing and standard accessories supplied mask machines. Our upstream supply chain has been greatly affected, resulting in extended supply cycles and a backlog of orders. But with the continuous improvement of the epidemic situation in our country, the supply chain of spare parts, production situation of enterprises, and order delivery have returned to normal. Currently, the main focus is on talent reserve and training, as well as continuous optimization of new product release and promotion and after-sales service, keeping up with the pace of industry development.

Aluminum Plus Network reporter: What problems are we currently facing in the development of our industry? How do you think we should respond?

Liu Dong: In my personal opinion, the main problems in the current profile packaging equipment industry are still severe imitation, homogenization, and insufficient innovation. Taking Diyi as an example, we have over 20 patents and are currently applying for more than ten. However, based on the current situation, the results have been minimal. At the national level, there is an increasing emphasis on the protection of intellectual property rights, but currently, a considerable proportion of users still have a price orientation towards products, especially when counterfeit devices are promoted in the market through price competition, which has had a certain impact on our company.

Since we cannot prevent imitation, our company will also focus our thoughts and energy on research and development innovation, but we still hope that the industry can maintain a good atmosphere of independent innovation and ensure the orderly and sustainable development of the market. We believe that many customers still recognize product quality and brand effect more. The reputation accumulated by Diyi Machinery with high-quality products over the long term cannot be imitated.
