In 2017, the total output of aluminium processed materials in China reached 38.2 million tons, up by 8.5% year-on-year, remaining the world's top for eleven consecutive years. Economic indicators such as main business income and profits continued to improve. The industry overcame the adverse situation of intensified international trade frictions and saw an overall increase in aluminium processed materials exports. New breakthroughs were made in areas such as technological innovation, expanded application and "going global". We have taken another big step towards the goal of building a strong country in aluminium processing.

At present, socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered a new era, and China's economy has also entered a new era of transforming from high-speed growth to high-quality development. Especially in 2018, it is the first year to comprehensively implement the spirit of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and a crucial year for carrying forward the "13th Five-Year Plan". In order to analyze the situation and challenges faced by China's aluminum processing industry in the new era, strengthen the ability of innovation-driven development, and promote the high-quality development of the industry, the 2018 China Aluminum Processing Industry Annual Conference is scheduled to be held in Foshan City, Guangdong Province from June 25th to 27th.

Main contents

This annual conference has two activities: "2018 China Aluminum Processing Industry Technology Innovation Exchange Conference" and "2018 (3rd) China Aluminum Processing Industry Materials Institute and Research Institute Dean Forum". The main contents are:

(I) government and industry leaders to interpret the industry situation and judge the development trend.

(II) well-known experts share new progress in application technology innovation in hot areas.

(III) universities and research institutes share the latest scientific research achievements in the field of basic research, and carry out scientific research and talent docking with enterprises.

(IV) typical enterprises to share successful development experience.

The (V) awarded the top ten and top twenty enterprises of China's construction aluminum profile in 2017 (the third).

(VI) issued certificates for outstanding contributions to China's aluminum extrusion industry in 2018 (the first session).
